The bet
The next great electronics company won't sell gadgets. It will sell things you love.
For one generation, the most magical objects on Earth were toys: a Game Boy, a Tamagotchi, a Furby that talked back. Then screens swallowed them whole, and play turned into scrolling. Now hardware is powerful enough to give any object a brain, and AI is finally good enough to give it a soul. Kawan is the lab bringing those objects back to life. We build fun electronics and the software that powers them: companions, instruments, games, and little robots, each one made to be loved instead of upgraded. And we will keep shipping, device after device and app after app. That same generation grew up on Tamagotchi and now collects Labubu and Pop Mart. Someone will build that company. We intend to be it.

We do not build for kids. We build for the kidult: the twenty and thirty somethings who grew up on Tamagotchi and now line up for Labubu, Sonny Angel, and Pop Mart. Already built
It started as a hobby. It works.
Confession: this began on nights and weekends. We love BMO, so we gave the little guy a real voice, a face full of feeling, and a memory of its own, then put the whole build on GitHub. BMO is not our IP, and that is the point. We made it for love, not money, and it turned out ridiculously fun. It also proved the hard part: a companion that talks, remembers, feels, and dreams is real, and it runs today. Hati is what we built next. Our own character, engineered and designed to ship.
